1. Metolius River – Known for its clear water and large population of rainbow, brown, and bull trout, this river is a popular fly-fish destination.
2. Whychus Creek – This stream is home to native redband trout and is a great spot for fly fishing. It runs through the town of Sisters.
3. Three Creeks Lake – Located in the Deschutes National Forest, is stocked with rainbow trout and is a popular spot for camping as well.
4. Fall River – Just a short drive out of Sisters this spring-fed river is home to rainbow and brown trout and offers year-round fishing opportunities.
5. Crooked River – A bit further from town, the large population of rainbow and brown trout makes the trip to this river worth it.
6. Lake Billy Chinook – Just an hour away this large loch is known for its populations of kokanee salmon, as well as smallmouth and largemouth bass.
7. Prineville Reservoir – Further out this large reservoir is a famous spot for boating and fishing due to big populations of crappie, bluegill, and bass.
8. Davis Lake – After a 30-minute drive from Sisters, you find Davis Lake stocked with rainbow and brown trout. It is a good spot for camping also.
